Writing into this little box feels very different then it did during the summer. Days in the summer are so much longer, so much more meaningful than the days that manufacture my life here. I am not used to having schoolwork. As much as I am happy to be enriching my mind with new literature and sciences and philosophies, I miss letting my mind drift in and out of what each seemingly insignificant event my day will consist of.
I have met some very interesting people here. Today at dinner I sat with a Freshmen from Northern Ireland. His name is Peter, and he is dreamy. I love his accent, even if his words clumsily move around his mouth and if he stops to sound out an "eeeuuhhh" every couple of words or so. I also sat with Jin, pronounced "Jean." He is from China. He flew to America three days before orientation. He is very interesting and if things go well my dream of having a half Asian child is a reality. (haha)
I can't wait for whatever happens this weekend that brings me off campus. I'm so excited. Miss YALL
