I think my ankle is twisted from my near death tumble I experienced last night on the wet cement steps of Lanny's front yard. My death was imminent, but with some stroke of luck I thrust my body forward just in time to avoid falling and cracking my head open. Also, I might or might not have glass in the bottom of my left foot. I am currently in a state of incoherence, pardon me. Sleeping on a cement ground outside under a tent in the pouring rain, pillowless, doesn't yield satisfactory results.
I really want the sun to show it's beautiful face for more than 2 hours a day, if that. Having a stretch of continuous sunny days would make summer better. Come on, seriously? What the hell rain. The joke's over, we get it. Hardy har. Now be done.
My eyes feel like they are rooted with an abundance of veins leading straight down into the top of my cheek bones, pulsing uncontrollably in a persistent twitch-like manner. Ahh, it feels good to close them. I already know my day will be inevitably spent resting unsoundly in my bedroom, while my mom vacuums the downstairs and occasionally pries my door open for one reason or another, like asking me to bring my dirty laundry to the washer. I'll hazily make my way downstairs and then return to my dim-lighted bedroom where I'll half mindedly drift in and out of slumber until about six. Just in time to eat a couple bites of my Mom's home cooked meal and partake in some contrived plan or another. Yay summer!
