My favorite part of today was lying on Lanny's trampoline and looking up at the sky, despite the surrounding bird poop and pine needles,  which posed as obstacles due to the inadequate blanket we all shared. The view partially resembled the picture I have at the top of this blog, except the trees were much sparser and flimsier. They were still tall and scantly filled with branches along the bottom. I liked both of these sights because they provide some perspective of how tiny I am in this overwhelming world. I wanted to climb a tree all day just to see it's view from the top and breathe the fresh air of the open sky.

This reminds me that I really like talking to Zach Kent about philosophical ideas. He has a lot of interesting things to say. One night at Jenny's fire a couple of weeks ago, a group of us talked about our lives and the spectrum of our lives in other's lives, and the different possibilities of worlds that exist. We did for hours and I was completely untroubled afterwards. It's a great feeling just lying under that stars beside a fire with a blanket and friends. It makes me feel warm, not just because of the fire.

If I were to make any sound right now it would be: Braaaaaaaeeeeeeeee.

Ha. I am sore from hiking the mountain, but enjoyed the beautiful weather nonetheless. None the richer. Sixpence. Kiss Me.

I can hear the muffled voices of my brothers speaking downstairs which bothers me. I would rather them talk at a level so that I could clearly make out distinct sounds because then I wouldn't pay attention to it. Plus, the sound of their World of Warcraft is carried effortlessly up the walls and into my bedroom whilst I try to sleep. Screw that .. headphones here I come.

I have orientation tomorrow and it's going to rain. Yuck.
