Looking for change... I'm dying for some artistic inspiration, in any form. Maybe I'll go downstairs and get my $10 art kit that has not been put to good use. My painting skillz are very much on the lame-o side, but I like to do it nonetheless. Still though, here I am, yammering on about nonsensical nothings. I think it's time to read a good book, any suggestions?

Once again, today was a timeless blur. The haze of grey outside somehow remained impervious to the lights inside my house, because though they were on this afternoon, my room was bleak and dismal. I tried escaping the monotony of my rainy day with a nap, but even that was wearisome.

I woke up from my nap for a Father's Day celebration. I love my Dad so much. He's just great, and the most prudent and levelheaded person I know. My Dad recently got his haircut into a new style, finally switching it up after about, well, my entire recalled life. I can't tell if I like it or not yet, though, because it was such a drastic change. I surprised him with a fresh sandwich from the Bagel Inn I had made him, along with a pickle, potato salad, and a pistachio muffin. (The best muffin ever, might I add) To my dismay, I soon find out upon arriving home that he had already eaten lunch. Boo. My efforts were still much appreciated. It was a movie night of sorts! We watched Kung Fu Panda, (great) Hancock, (God awful) and Knocked Up (Typically funny, but enjoyable.)

The small "blog world" I was once part of is ever expanding, and it's becoming overwhelming to keep track of all who write! That's a lie, it's not overwhelming I quite enjoy it. Even those who I don't know well. Keep on writing fools, write about your days or whatever there is to say, and I will read faithfully.

  1. Those pistachio muffins really looked so good!
Also, I saw your favorite books list and I am glad that someone else in the world has read The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time.
