So I did this entry before I left tonight, but my expected plans changed very much. Tonight was still the fun that I needed to get myself back on track to routine fun-ness. I wish it wasn't rainy. This is the first time I can remember in a long time that we [my family] didn't need the air-conditioner installed before June ended. Global cooling, is possible. I don't know anything about those sorts of theories. However I did catch An Inconvenient Truth with Al Gore and thought it was fooey. Why am I so indifferent to current events that will possible determine a lot of my future? I wish my brain was more actively involved in some of the things I do to occupy my time.

When I say I have not been having fun, it doesn't mean that I am bored or unhappy. In fact, I've been the happiest I've been in a long time for quite a while now. I don't want people to take my seeking of more fun the wrong way. I just want more spontaneity, but that's challenging with jobs and curfews and parents and yardwork and vacations and summer commitments. I just want more time with the people I don't want to say goodbye to. Gasp.

It's times like this where I think blogging is the stupidest thing I could be doing. I don't have anything interesting to talk about right now and I am not in the mood to leave you with an experience that altered my thinking recently, nor do I even have one. However, I will say that today while driving through Lancaster early in the morning, the car in front of me ran over a chipmunk, killed it, meanwhile I got stuck at the red light and was forced to watch it die. I felt so disturbed that I teared up. Overreaction, maybe. But it was really sad! Not to mention gross! Dead animals = terrible. Dying animals = terriblex50

Hey Jeff Goodluck at RISD, miss you BRO <3 *starzz* parties (zzzzzzzzzz) Love U!!!1111

  1. I saw the car in front of me hit a cat once. The car happened to be being driven by my father in law and he his beyond indifferent about these things. So I stopped and was going to move the cat off of the road when these kids came running out of the house and started accusing me of hitting it. I was so sad about the cat... and I didn't want them to think I hit it, but they wouldn't believe me. I ended up moving the cat and driving away apologizing to these four crying and swearing kids for hitting their cat.

  2. That's awful!! :(

I have this memory from when I was 8 or 9, and my family was vacationing in Bar Harbor Maine, and we were driving on this very scenic route, going relatively slower than normal to try to enjoy it. So we see this turtle in the middle or the road, slowly making it's way across, and decide to pull over to let it pass. Next thing we hear is a loud POP. The asshole who was driving behind us quickly went to pass us and ran it over, leaving us with the sight of it's blood and guts spewing out of it's cracked shell...
