I think about every month or so I will get the urge to change the picture used at the heading for this blog. I feel bad, because not only did I not take this, but I pathetically stole it from someone's Flickr account after typing "summer" into the search bar. I am embarrassed to admit that, but I would like to think that maybe this mystery person would be honored, not mad that I stole their picture. They will never know anyways.

For the first time in a while I am just plain excited for the rest of summer. As of now I am nowhere near ready to say goodbye. And even though these past weeks are going to fly by so quickly that I'll barely be able to hold onto them, I know that they will be be fun. Today I laughed so hard I wheezed like an old man that has been smoking his entire life and has perpetual phlegm subsiding in his esophagus. My world is so funny. On a side note, I played mermaid today for 2 1/2 hours. Trillium was my made up name and my girls loved it. I consider "playing mermaids" to be one of the perks of my job.



My heart's getting bigger and my spirit's getting lighter.
